- A potential club must fill out the Expression of Interest Form to Affiliate and gain 20 signatures from students in support of the creation of the club to submit to the QUT Student Guild Clubs and Societies Officer.
- The QUT Student Guild Clubs and Societies Officer will take the submission to the next scheduled Clubs and Societies Committee meeting for approval.
- Upon approval, the club will submit a drafted Constitution prior to their mandatory induction meeting that will occur within 21 days of the Clubs and Societies Committee meeting in which they were approved.
- The new clubs Inaugural General Meeting will be held within six weeks of the Clubs and Societies Committee meeting in which they were approved. Failure to hold this Inaugural General Meeting will result in the club’s noncompliance.
- Upon the conclusion of the Inaugural General Meeting, the club will send the passed Constitution, minutes of the meeting, attendance details and the bank signatories’ information no more than 7 days after the Inaugural General Meeting. Upon compliance, the new club will receive bank account access.
- Affiliation remains contingent on a club’s ability to abide by R28.1 – 28.9 of the QUT Student Guild Regulations.
