- club may be disaffiliated for any of the following reasons:
- The membership falls below 20 QUT Student members;
- The membership comprises of less than 70% QUT Student members;
- It is on probation for a period of 6 months or more;
- The club fails to comply with any policies or regulations of the Clubs and Societies Committee or QUT Student Guild;
- The club fails to respond to any reasonable request made by the Clubs and Societies Officer, Clubs and Societies Committee and/or the QUT Student Guild;
- The club fails to comply with the terms of a written warning given to them by the Clubs and Societies Officer, Clubs and Societies Committee, and/or the QUT Student Guild;
- The club negatively effects the QUT Student Guild’s reputation;
- The club, by resolution of its’ Executive, undergoes voluntary dissolution;
- The club requests to be disaffiliated with the QUT Student Guild; or/and
- Any other reason given by the Clubs and Societies Committee and/or the QUT Student Guild, aligned with non-compliance of R28.1 to R28.9 of the QUT Student Guild Regulations.
- The Clubs and Societies Officer and Clubs and Societies Committee will give 30 days’ written notice of decision to disaffiliate a club. A club may appeal this decision to Guild Council by signature of 50 students, of which at least 25 percent must not be existing members of the club being disaffiliated.
