Extraordinary Meetings of the Clubs and Societies Committee

  1. Extraordinary Meetings of the Clubs and Societies Committee may occur on short notice and with the presence of two current board members who shall each hold one (1) vote.
  2. The actions of this Extraordinary Meeting must be well documented and shared publicly with members of the QUT Student Guild Community, with all decisions/motions requiring absolute majority to pass.
  3. Examples of circumstances which may require an Extraordinary Meeting include but are not limited to:
    1. A Clubs non-compliance;
    2. A Club negatively affecting the QUT Student Guild’s reputation;
    3. A Club’s probation coming within one month of its due date;
    4. A Club or member of a club failing to comply with the provisions outlined within the Code of Conduct Section 1; and/or
    5. A Club or a member of a club failing to act on any reasonable request made by the Clubs and Societies Team.
