Extraordinary Meetings of the Clubs and Societies Committee
- Extraordinary Meetings of the Clubs and Societies Committee may occur on short notice and with the presence of two current board members who shall each hold one (1) vote.
- The actions of this Extraordinary Meeting must be well documented and shared publicly with members of the QUT Student Guild Community, with all decisions/motions requiring absolute majority to pass.
- Examples of circumstances which may require an Extraordinary Meeting include but are not limited to:
- A Clubs non-compliance;
- A Club negatively affecting the QUT Student Guild’s reputation;
- A Club’s probation coming within one month of its due date;
- A Club or member of a club failing to comply with the provisions outlined within the Code of Conduct Section 1; and/or
- A Club or a member of a club failing to act on any reasonable request made by the Clubs and Societies Team.
